Logos represent something, and in this case, I was to create a logo that represents me, and my work. Some logos are simple and almost abstract in their design. Along my search of logo searching to inspire myself, I came across a variety of logos that seem to reflect my style and appeal to me.
This logo gave me inspiration in my logo design process. I really like the idea of the wings, and how the wings merged into the lettering in the first and last letter of the word. I also liked how the overall logo looks, and how its fluent in its design. This logo helped me to realize I’d like to incorporate a wing into my final design.
Although this isn’t a logo, but rather a ring, this gave me inspiration and ideas in the planning and sketching of my own logo. I liked the wing shape, and how it swoops down. The skull in the ring also appealed to me, as my theme is and artwork always contains skulls in some form. The overall layout and design really helped me get a good idea of a logo I’d like to design.
This image was a very big part in my inspiration and sketching process as it really appealed to me and, with its overall design and aid from the previous image, of the ring, these two combined help to create the final logo mock up. I really liked the way the wing came off the skull, and the fluently of the two different pieces (skull and wing) together.
These are multiple different band logos. Even more there is more then one logo on this image, the overall appearance of all the logos is what appealed to me. I really liked the roughness and boldness in the outlining and lettering in all the individual logos. I feel that I could use this as inspiration in creating the design for my own logo because the feeling they portray would connect to my own logo design’s feeling, as I’ve been discovering the logo I want to create in all my sketches to include a skull of some sorts.
